Justice (Retd) Nasira Javed Iqbal Likely to Be the Next President of Pakistan
Justice (Retd) Nasira Javed Iqbal—the daughter-in-law of Pakistan’s visionary—Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal, is likely to be the next elected president of Pakistan in September 2018. If she becomes the president, then she would have the honour of being the first woman president of the country.
The name of Muhammad Mian Soomro—the ex-chairman senate, ex-prime minister of the caretaker government and the newly elected MNA of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in the constituency of Jacobabad was also suggested for the next president of the country, but the name of Justice (Retd) Nasira Javed Iqbal is being taken into consideration for the next presidency of Pakistan.
As per sources, PTI has been suggested to elect Justice (Retd) Nasira Javed Iqbal as the next president of Pakistan.
She is the wife of the late Justice (Retd)Javed Iqbal. She is also the mother of the PTI candidate—Waleed Iqbal.
According to the sources, Imran Khan the PTI chairman has responded positively to the suggestion of electing Justice (Retd) Nasira Javed Iqbal as the next president of Pakistan once the tenure of President Mamnoon Hussain finishes in September 2018. Following Khan’s positive response to the recommendation, preparations are underway for electing Justice (Retd) Nasira as the next president of the country.
The proposition is also becoming popular and is getting high appreciation. Serious consultation is being done ever since the suggestion has surfaced.
Some circles have this belief that even the opposing parties would support the suggestion as Justice (Retd) Nasira Javed Iqbal is the daughter of Pakistan’s biggest well-wisher and thinker—Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal.
The oath from the next president of Pakistan would be taken on the 9th of September 2018. The present president Mamnoon Hussain would be retiring as the president after completing his tenure on the 8th of September.
All four provincial assemblies, National assembly and Senate would elect the new president of Pakistan.
People are loving just the thought of her being the next president of the country.
