Minimum requirements: Recently Youtube has change his policy about monetization. According to it the minimum requiremnts to enable monetization is;

• Your channel must have at least 1000 subscribers and 4000 hours watch time to start earning money.
• You can monetize your video after uploads by clicking the Monetization tab and ten checking the “Monetize with Ads” box.
• To monetize a video after it has been uploaded, open your Youtube Studio and click the “$” sign next to the video that you want to monetize and then Check the “Monetize with Ads” box.

Set up Google AdSense: If you have not Adsense Account, then its time to make google adsense account. You can make google adsense account by signing up at Adsense website. Click the Sign Up Now button to begin creating your account.
