Ranveer Singh Comforts Pakistani Fan over Their Loss

MANCHESTER: Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh, among other celebrities made his way to Old Trafford in Manchester on Sunday June 16th to witness the India vs. Pakistan World Cup match live. After India’s one sided triumph, the gentleman was spotted comforting a disheartened Pakistani fan over their loss.
The video of him hugging and consoling the Pakistani fan went viral as Pakistan failed to break the curse of winning against India in a World Cup.
The lucky fan, Aatif Nawaz is a comedian based in London who also posted the video on his Twitter page where Ranveer can be heard saying “Put it there man, put it there,” signaling the hug.
“There’s always next time! Don’t be disheartened,” he said.
He further added that the players “Played well. Boys are committed, dedicated, professionals and they’ll be back.”
Atif Nawaz also appreciated and thanked Singh for his kind gesture and captioned his tweet saying "Indian fans are nice."
