UCL Draw 2022

UCL is a short form for UEFA Champions League. It is the biggest stage in club football. Champions League season 2022/2023 will be the 68th Edition where the Elite and Superior Clubs of Europe will compete against each other. Every other club and player is desperate and tries to do something exceptional for the European Glory. 

UCL Group Stage Draw

On this Thursday 32 Teams will be drawn into four pots. There will be 8 Groups and each will have 4 Teams. Every other club will face the group teams twice, meaning 6 Games will be contested between the Clubs of the same group. The top 2 Teams from each group advance to the Round of 16 phase, which is the next stage. 

The holder of Pot 1 are the Champions League and Europa League Winner and 6 other Clubs who have won The League Title 21/22 of the Highest Ranked Leagues. Pot 2, 3 and 4 are assembled according to UEFA coefficient rankings. There will be a tie of the pot 1 team with the other three pot teams. Additionally, teams cannot compete against other clubs from the same League. Any kind of unusual conditions occur in a group like Clubs have the same points then Head to Head will be a preference.

UCL Group Stage Matches Schedule

Generally, the matches of the UCL Group Stage start in September Mid and ends in December. However, due to the arrival of the FIFA World Cup 2022, it will start at the beginning of September end at the beginning of November. So, the calendar will be followed with the given dates.
