ICC Announce Match officials for Pakistan vs England Final
Pakistan and England will play T20 World Cup 2022 final on November 13
MELBOURNE: The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced match officials for the mega final of T20 World Cup 2022 between Pakistan and England, scheduled on November 13 at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
Umpires Marais Erasmus (South Africa) and Kumar Dharmasena (Sri Lanka) will assume on-field duties.
Chris Gaffaney (New Zealand) will be the TV umpire for the match while Paul Reiffel (Australia) will be the fourth umpire.
The final will be overseen by Match Referee Ranjan Madugalle (Sri Lanka).
Pakistan and England will be facing each other in the ICC World Cup event for the first time after 1992. The two teams locked horns in ICC World Cup 1992's final which Pakistan won to lift their maiden cricket title.
Under the leadership of Imran Khan, Pakistan defeated England to register their maiden World Cup glory.
